Privacy policy
This policy covers this website, ginaj.me: its contact form, its newsletter, and the emails I send to people who use them. I’m Gina J. Waota, and I’m the one who reads what you send.
What I collect
- The contact form: your name, email address, what you’re reaching out about, your message, and whether you ticked the box to receive letters.
- The newsletter form: your email address, and your first name if you give it.
- With either form: the time, the page you sent it from, and the exact wording you agreed to, as a record of your permission. Your IP address is used briefly to block spam and isn’t kept in readable form.
- Emails from me: whether they arrive, whether they’re opened, and which links are clicked, so I know what’s useful. Many email apps block this, and that’s fine.
- Your replies: if you write back, your email arrives in my mailbox and is noted with your details.
How I use it
- To reply to you.
- To send occasional reflections and gathering invitations, only if you asked for them.
- If you’ve written about working together, to send a few follow-up notes about that conversation. They stop as soon as you reply or unsubscribe.
Your details are never sold. There are no ads, analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
Who helps me
A few services handle your details for me, and only to do this work:
- Railway hosts this website and the records it keeps.
- Resend delivers my emails.
- Google Workspace holds my mailbox.
How long I keep it
For as long as we’re in touch, or until you ask me to remove it. If you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, I keep your email address on a do-not-email list, so you aren’t emailed again by mistake.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
- You can ask to see, correct or remove your details at any time.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set cookies for visitors.
Accounting clients
Accounting and advisory work through GynaJ Accounting & Advisory Services has its own secure channel for documents. Please don’t send financial or confidential documents through this website.
